It’s only November, but parents are starting to think about school options for their children a year from now. To help, local public and private schools are hosting open houses this month to give families tours and information. This weekend, that includes Cannon School, Lake Norman Christian School and Davidson Day School, while Woodlawn and JV Washam Elementary open houses are scheduled over the next two weeks.

J.V. WASHAM ELEMENTARY , Monday, Nov. 17, 9:30am – J.V. Washam Elementary School in Cornelius will be hosting a Parent Open House for prospective parents in the Media Center. This meeting is open to parents of rising kindergarten students as well as parents of elementary students not currently enrolled at J.V. Washam but who live in the school’s zone and are interested in learning more about their public school option.
